During the trial of the action of the Prosecutor Felicio Pontes in federal court in Brasilia, on 17 October, some members of VEDDAS protested outside the Federal Court in Sao Paulo demanding that the constitutional rights of the indigenous peoples that inhabit the Xingu River region are respected.
