In the days 13 and 14 October, a ONG VEDDAS|PE performed, in Recife, the first Volunteer Training Workshop and lecture “The animalistic movement in Brazil and Worldwide”, respectivamente.

On 13/10, às 15h30min, in the building CECINE, located on the campus of the Federal University of Pernambuco, George Guimarães [President of the NGO VEDDAS] facilitate the Training Workshop for Volunteers, evento cujo principal objetivo é o de compartilhar informações teóricas e práticas necessárias ao ativismo vegano.

On 14/10, 19h, Auditorium Tobias Barreto, located at the Law School of Recife, George Guimarães will deliver the lecture “The animalistic movement in Brazil and Worldwide”, tratando da história e do momento atual do movimento animalista a partir de análises críticas advindas da experiência nacional e internacional do ativista.

We call on activists aligned with the way of working of the NGO Act VEDDAS to participate in the observation DIDA (International Day of Animal Rights)

In this impactful event provoke reflection on the public mind that nonhuman animals receive in our society in our arms holding the corpses of animals victimized by the industry of animal exploitation. Meanwhile, some volunteers will be available to talk with the public, esclarecer eventuais dúvidas e aprofundar a discussão.

“Today I made the most important speech of my life! ABOUT ACTIVISM AND DIRECT ACTION for children 12 years old. After 2 hours of talk time, touched the signal range and they did not want to leave! Trocaram o intervalo por mais alguns momentos de histórias e conversa.

At the end, one of the children approached and asked: 'Does it still will exist in a few years?’ I replied that I hoped it was not necessary that existed, but that is likely to continue to exist in a few years. Foi quando percebi que ele estava perguntando isso porque quer fazer parte do time quando crescer.
