This year, the VEDDAS innovated a protest controversial. In downtown Sao Paulo, just 100 meters from the City Hall building, activists positioned themselves in a respectful manner while holding the bodies of animals raised for their meat or skin, or those victimized by science and other forms of animal exploitation. The bodies were obtained from the disposal of industry and conservation units where they had died. Naturally, no animal was purchased or generated any profit for the industry of animal exploitation. While activists held the bodies, others spoke on the megaphone explaining the reason for the protest and others talked directly with the population. The VEDDAS CARTE-attended showing images that expose the reality of animal exploitation. Two camera crews were present to document the act.
