VEDDAS Participates in Demonstration II National Anti-Vivisection and Animal Experimentation

demonstration against experimentationOn 28 April 2012, to 15 hours, in different cities in Brazil and abroad, Manifestation is happening II National Anti Vivisection and Animal Experimentation in Brazil.
With the participation of 47 confirmed only cities in Brazil .
Last year, __ at great cost but with great repercussion in the national media __ I have accomplished the National Demonstration, with the participation of 5 capitals: Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. This year we have already confirmed the participation of 47 Brazilian cities.
Demonstrations, although varied according to the possibilities of each participating city, adhere to a single criterion, centrally from the proposal made by Chain, that is radical abolitionist ORDER.

Confirm your attendance on the event page at Facebook.

The emphasis is guideline refers to 2 key points:
– OUTRAGE: exposure to society, in clear and explicit terms, what goes on inside the Brazilian colleges “second line” that, rather than adopt the existing ethical alternatives to animal testing and vivisection, still insist on the policy that “KILL is cheaper than doing science”. Acts of torturous abuse, unimaginable cruelty, “experiences” that dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits and mice have their lives snuffed, without there being any justification for this, ethical and scientific.
– INFORMATION: lead to knowledge society, still largely used to believe that animal experimentation “is a necessary evil”, that this argument is a liar and does not hold, by no means. Provide information on ethical methods existing alternative, now employed, including, by colleges and educational institutions internationally first-line.
A great start to study and access to information is through this link Instituto Nina Rosa.
Throughout this phase that precedes the public manifestation itself, on 28 April 2012, disclose the companies whose products offered for sale in domestic and international NOT adopt tests on animals which are, so even, considered cruelty-free.
In the example of what is already happening in other countries, where the pressure of society is forcing companies to suit the politics of respect for animals, Our goal is to start a serious campaign requiring companies that sell products in the Brazilian market to commit to the creation of SEAL ensuring that their production is guaranteed FREE of animal suffering.
Recently witnessed the case of Avon, being processed today internationally, by LIE in their statements to be free from animal testing. The lawsuit is only possible because the earlier Avon — now discovered that performs testing of its products in the Republic of China — had committed MORE than a mere statement, by filing their products with the SEAL who led many consumers to be misled.
Only a united society able to produce this change of behavior in Brazil.
Hitherto, all we have at our disposal, are words and the consumer's relationship with the national companies have been based exclusively on GOODWILL who consume their products, which has generated immense field for questions regarding many companies today regarded as free of animal testing..
CONSUMER PRESSURE remains the only weapon available to modify the scenario is also here in Brazil.
Do your part. Report-is. Speak up.
BOYCOTT companies that test on animals.
AND NOT enroll in colleges that still KILLED animals.
Not only for ethical, but also because they ignore and disrespect the evolution of science over the past decades, of significant advances, creating methods infinitely more reliable results from the standpoint of scientific itself.
Please, sign the petition to ANVISA requiring Mandatory indicative seal products in Cruelty-Free in Brazil.
