The VEDDAS actively participated in the organization of the camp that began on 15 October under the Viaduct do Cha in Sao Paulo. Among other demands, the judgment of the actions against the Belo Monte dam that stops are the TRF-1, the rights of indigenous peoples, by the law of nature, 10% GDP for education and direct democracy.
The power in the early days was made possible by donations of food that were received and prepared in the restaurant VEGETHUS, distributed with the help of volunteers. All decisions in the camp were taken by consensus at meetings held daily.
