The VEDDAS and the Office of Environmental Justice, in partnership with the Movement For Brazil Forests, began a campaign effectiveness Brazilian environmental legislation by encouraging class actions (legal) against the construction of the hydroelectric plant of Belo Monte. The class action is a legal instrument that is' the willingness of every citizen to engage the judiciary act injurious or when there is risk of damage to property of the Union, in which case, to the environment. The volunteer lawyers prepared the text of the action and is reaping the VEDDAS attorney documents and those interested in entering the class action against the construction of Belo Monte.
