VEDDAS|RN is pleased to show another movie themed animalistic this November. It is worth remembering that the Cine VEDDAS happens every second Monday of the month, so do not miss! This time, film “The Cove” will be displayed in the auditorium “C” do CCHLA da UFRN. After viewing the film, there will be a discussion about the movie and tasting vegan foods! Synopsis: The Cove is a complex study of man and how money influences and transforms. The story is focused on the fight against the slaughter of dolphins, as well as the capture and exploitation for use in the entertainment industry. For the making of the film, a group of activists infiltrated the local community, what made them being harassed and threatened by Japanese police and the mafia that profits from this activity. A sincere and heartfelt movie that must be seen.
