Petition organized by VEDDAS was hand delivered to the Governor Alckmin on Tuesday.

The more 66 thousand petition signatures published in http://chn.ge/1crCdw1 asking the sanction of the PL 777 banning animal testing for cosmetic purposes and hygiene in the state of São Paulo were hand delivered at Government House the Governor Alckmin on Tuesday 21 January 2014 Antivissecção during a meeting with the Commission of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo, chaired by Mr Feliciano Son, author of the bill. Among activists and experts that comprise the Commission Antivissecção are two members of the NGO VEDDAS, that in addition to integrating the committee is also responsible for organizing the petition which was carried by the NGO lawyer who filed the Government Palace on the same date. The Governor has until the day 24 January to position themselves in relation to the sanction of the bill.
