Reef, stage of bioethics and animal rights (PRESS KIT)
Starts on Wednesday, 22 August, in Recife-PE, the largest global bioethics and animal rights. The event, which will last for four days, with the participation of George Guimarães, President of the NGO VEDDAS, they will speak with other guests (see the schedule below) on 24 from 14h to 16h Auditorium 01: Veganism and Health.
Based at the Federal University of Pernambuco and having the support of the Federal University of Bahia and the Institute Abolicionista hairs Animals, o III World Conference on Bioethics and Animal Rights (III World Congress of Bioethics and Animal Rights) is already considered by experts one of the main areas of discussion on the theme of animals.
With the theme “Ethical development and the fight against hunger”, were thought several roundtables, mini-courses and lectures magnas with big names in the national and international, among them the Minister Benjamin Herman, as well as researchers and scholars in the field, como Ingo Sarlet, Andreas Krell, José Baracho Jr, Edna Cardozo Days, Paula Brugger, Marcelo Pelizolli, Helping Minahim, Laerte LÉVAI, Carlos Naconecy, George Guimarães, Marly Winckler, Vânia Tuglio, Lena Carvalho, Daniel Lourenço, Fábio Oliveira and Fernanda Medeiros. Also present will be the deputies Ricardo Izar and Feliciano Son.
The opening will be attended by the Rector of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Professor Anísio Brazilian, which will open the event saluting the public and all who come to Pernambuco 18h fourth.
The professor of the Law School of Recife (UFPE), John Maurice Adeodato will be the speaker of the first day with the theme: “Ethics in complex society: emptying content, overload of the right strategy and tolerance” 19h at the headquarters of the Post-Graduate Philosophy UFPE.
Highlight of the event will be, also, conference with U.S. professors David Cassuto, David Favre e Steven Wise, with the theme “New trends in animal rights”. At the end of the conference, the three teachers will be honored for his work on animal rights and support given to the development of this theme in the Brazilian academic environment.
