Participation in the event Viva a Mata 2011
The seventh edition of the Mata Viva – show initiatives and projects in support of the Atlantic met this year about 90 thousand people in Ibirapuera Park, in São Paulo, to commemorate the 25 years of SOS Mata Atlântica, organizer of the event, and also mark the National Day of the Atlantic
Viva a Mata gathered over 100 Exhibitors, debates and attractions related to the environment and sustainability. Furthermore, the event also brought parallel activities, and new.
The VEDDAS was present at the booth "Fauna and Flora", leading to the visiting public projects VEDDAS-MOBILE, Vedder and BAR-Cart Vedder, plus an exhibition of banners that address the issue of animal exploitation. The President of Vedder, George Guimarães, attended two lectures during the event. The goal was to raise VEDDAS participation with the public and with environmental organizations who attended the debate on the relationship between animal exploitation and environmental issues.
