A protest at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) gathered over 100 activists in full Monday, who marched across campus denouncing the fallacy of scientific experiments with primates in many laboratories that university. On Saturday night before, the residences of two vivisectors who work at UCLA were visited by about 50 neighborhood activists who exposed the heinous practices committed by their neighbors. On the same night, were also visited the homes of two executives who work for companies that hire the "services" of animal experimentation of Huntingdon Life Sciences, the largest vivisection lab in the world where 500 animals are tortured and killed every day.
The VEDDAS was actively present in these protests, which were ostensibly accompanied by LAPD, known for its history of repression of animal rights activists in that country.
