George Guimarães, President of the NGO VEDDAS was invited to speak at the largest and oldest animal rights conference in the world. With 30 year history, a Animal Rights National Conference meets annually in the U.S. over 1.000 activists coming from all over the world to 5 days of lectures, offices, video releases, awards and exchange of experiences. This year's edition takes place from 02 a 06 August in the capital and will com 80 speakers representing 60 organizations. In eight consecutive years of participation as a speaker, the president has done VEDDAS 16 lectures, presenting to foreign activists its projects, sharing their experiences and discussing their strategies.
This year, George Guimarães decided to make a video log with testimonials and short interviews, showing a bit about what happens at the conference to share with local activists and ViSta Himself (www.vista-se.com.br) was chosen to be the portal for the dissemination of these videos. The event is a great forum to share experiences, discuss strategies, report the progress of the movement's actions and expose the work of different groups working for animal liberation on all fronts.
